In an effort to improve the efficiency of recycling collection, 1,484 residences will be switched from ‘B week’ to ‘A week’ recycling starting on Monday, February 12, 2018. The day of collection will not change for affected residences, simply the recycling pickup week and collection time during the day.Affected residences will receive a postcard notification in the mail from Waste Connections in addition to tag with information. Through analysis of routes, Waste Connections anticipates that changing recycling weeks for specific residences will make routes more proportional, reduce collection day confusion and improve the efficiency of routes.
Recycling collection weeks will remain normal for residences that do not receive a postcard or tag from Waste Connections.
