The Town of Huntersville has extended its application deadline for the newly created Sesquicentennial Celebration Planning Committee. Additional applications will now be accepted through December 8, 2021. Appointments are expected to be made at the December 20, 2021 Town Board meeting.
This committee play an active role in the planning and organizing of activities throughout 2023 to celebrate the Town’s 150th Anniversary of Incorporation. This committee will give residents, businesses and others an opportunity to give their input and offer suggestions on how the Town should best celebrate this major milestone. Committee members are appointed by the Huntersville Town Board.

Applicants must be residents or businesses in Huntersville or the Town’s ETJ. Meetings are subject to change depending on Commission action, but meetings would typically take place once per month.
