Conditional District Rezoning

A conditional district rezoning is an amendment to the zoning map for the reclassification of property to a zoning district including conditions and modifications, to be exacted, that are agreed upon by the applicant.  A conditional district rezoning requires a community meeting, hearing by the Planning Board, and final decision by the Town Board of Commissioners. It is recommended, though not required, that applicants proposing a conditional rezoning present to the Pre-Development Group to receive feedback before formally submitting the conditional rezoning application.
