National Park Trust invites you and students across the country to participate in the annual Kids to Parks Day, a nationwide grassroots movement celebrating America’s parks and public lands.

Kids to Parks Day takes place every year on the third Saturday of May.
WHAT TO DO
Huntersville QRious Kids to Parks Day Scavenger Hunt
The month of May we will place signs in our parks with QR codes.
- Scan the QR code to get the riddle (2-3 riddles/park)
- Find the object/place in the park that answers each riddle
- Take a picture/selfie of you with the answer
- Post a few of your pictures in the event on Facebook or email: thouk@huntersville.org
- Participant names will be placed in a 'hat' and one winner will win $50 towards a birthday parks at the Huntersville Rec Center.
- Deadline to post pictures is May 31, 2022
Parks included: Abernathy, Barry Park, Bradford Park, Greenway Park, Holbrook Park (sign in gazebo), North Mecklenburg Park, Rosedale Nature Park, Waymer Park **Signs are located mainly at the restroom/water fountain area at the parks.
**You do not have to visit every park to enter the drawing, just completing one park & posting/emailing will get you an entry**
