Memorial Day Ceremony

The Town of Huntersville and American Legion Post 321 would like to invite you to the 21st Annual Memorial Day Ceremony taking place at Veterans Park (201 Huntersville-Concord Rd., Huntersville) on Monday, May 30, 2022.   


Enjoy patriotic pre-ceremony music at 10:30am with the Community Singers of Lake Norman. Audience participation is encouraged through display of red, white and blue either through dress and/or flags. BSA Troop 19 show their support by distributing mini flags to audience members and lining the lawn at attention in uniform.

The ceremony will begin promptly at 11:00am and end with a Salute to the Fallen by members of the American Legion Post 321. Colors to be presented and retired by  led by bagpiper David Thornburg. Renee Mauney will be our sign interpreter for the deaf.

*Physical Distancing Guidelines are encouraged. Seating will be available on a first come first serve basis. We encourage you to bring your lawn chair and/or blanket.
