Benefits and Salary

Starting Salary: $43,970 (Plus incentives DOQ) 

• Take home vehicle for officers who live in town and within 12 miles outside town limits

• 2.5% pay incentive for residency within Town limits

• 5% pay incentive for Bachelor's Degree

• 2.5% pay incentive for Associate's Degree

• 5% pay incentive for Bi-lingual capability (second language will be tested and must be approved by Chief of Police for incentive)

- Additional incentive money paid for the training and experience of currently sworn officers.

• 5% of annual salary contributed by Town to 401K

• Paid medical and dental insurance for employee

• Life insurance - two times annual salary with cap at $200,000
