Officer Jason Cousar and Officer Aaron Fulton were chosen as the Co-Workers of the month for January. Officer Cousar has been employed with the Huntersville Police Department since June 2005 and Officer Fulton has been employed since March 2007. Both Officers were selected for the excellent work they do on a daily basis in the Patrol Bureau. Specifically, they are being recognized for their actions on December 23, 2009, in locating and apprehending two suspects involved in the theft of merchandise that was being delivered to homes in the Tanner’s Creek community by United Parcel Service. Their actions were commendable and led to the recovery of property belonging to six victims. The stolen property included Christmas presents and even much needed medical supplies, for which one of the victims was extremely grateful in having returned. Officer Cousar’s and Officer Fulton’s diligence, devotion to duty, and professionalism, reflect great credit upon themselves and the Huntersville Police Department.
