The Administrative Bureau is under the command of the Office Manager, Carol Helms, and includes non-sworn, civilian clerical and technical employees. This Bureau serves primarily as the business office of the Police Department and provides a wide array of support services to all components of the Department. The Administrative Bureau is responsible for receiving, reviewing, sorting, and entering data into the records functions and activities. The Administrative Bureau is also responsible for the maintenance and control of the police records system.
The Administrative Bureau is responsible for, but not limited to, the following functions:
- Records
- Computer Operations and Technology Development
- Division of Criminal Information (DCI)/ National Crime Information Center (NCIC)
- Forms Review and Accountability
- Facility Maintenance
- Fiscal Management
