The Huntersville Police Department is pleased to announce that one of the vacant Police Officer positions has been filled by Sam Hodapp, effective April 2, 2012.  Sam is from Matthews, North Carolina. 

Officer Hodapp attended UNC Charlotte and graduated with a B.S. in Geography and a minor in American Studies.  He received his Basic Law Enforcement Training Certification at Central Piedmont Community College in December 2011.

The Huntersville Police Department is pleased to announce that one of the vacant Police Officer positions has been filled by Robert Moore, effective April 2, 2012. Officer Moore is originally from Pilot Mountain, North Carolina but has lived in the area since January 2012.

Robert attended Surry Community College where he received an Associates Degree in Arts.  He received his Basic Law Enforcement Training Certification from Winston-Salem Police Academy.  He served the Winston-Salem Police Deartment for five years prior to coming to Huntersville.  He has also earned his Intermediate Law Enforcement and Police Law Institute Certificates from the North Carolina Justice Academy.
