The ERSAP is a long-range land use and transportation plan that will guide future land use, transportation and infrastructure investment decisions by the Town, developers and property owners within the Study Area. This plan is being prepared in response to anticipated development likely to occur in conjunction with completion of the last segment of I-485 and other improvements to the surrounding road network. EASTFIELD ROAD SMALL AREA PLAN DECISION ALERT
A final decision on the Eastfield Road Small Area Plan and the thoroughfare alignments included in the Plan was delayed in order to allow Town staff to further analyze the potential impact of the recommended alignment for Hambright Road on the historic Bethesda Methodist Church Cemetery. Staff has concluded that the recommended alignment will not directly impact the cemetery.
