Summer Day Camp

Pick from eight weeks of fun & excitement as you join us during our traditional summer day camp. This traditional recreation day camp offers creative group activities as well as opportunities for individual growth. Campers will take weekly field trips, participate in arts and crafts projects, & enjoy themselves as they participate in many other fun filled activities.  *Trips are subject to change
Who:    Rising 1^st-5^th grade
When:  Monday, June 18 – Friday, August 17
No Camp week of July 2^nd-6^th 
Time:   8:30am-4:30pm
(Extended Care: 7:30-8:30 am & 4:30-6 pm; cost for extended care is an additional $15 one or $30 for both).
Where: David B. Waymer Center, 14200 Holbrooks Rd.
Fee:      $90R/$115NR-One week sessions

Week 3: Party in the USA, Trip to Carowinds
Week 4: Time Warp, Trip to Reeds Gold Mine
Week 5: Wings & Things, Trip to McDowell Nature Center
Week 6: Anything Goes, Trip to Cedar Grove Lake Water Park
Week 7: Wide World of Sports, Trip to Sports Connection
Week 8: Summer’s Final Countdown, Trip to Emerald Pointe

Registration: Saturday, March 10^th for all Huntersville residents from 8:30 am-11:30 am. Registration will be taken at our Administrative offices, 105 Gilead Road, 3^rd Floor. Doors will open at 8am Registration forms will be available at that time while waiting in line. Registration/wait listing will continue Monday, March 12^th during regular office hours 8am-5pm for all Huntersville residents for one week. Non-Huntersville residents may register beginning Monday, March 19^th. A Deposit of 25% is required at time of registration. Monthly payments will be due by the 15^th of each month.

Summer Day Camp Parents’ meeting will be held on Thursday, June 14^th at 6pm in the Waymer Center Gymnasium.

Teen Adventure Camp

Join us as we experience new & adventuresome activities. Through field trips & programs participants will develop self-confidence, independence, friendship, & the abilities to cope together as a group. Some of our trips & highlights are as follows: White Water Rafting, High & Low Ropes courses with Team Building Challenges, Paddle boarding, Tubing, Wakeboarding, Surfing lessons, a trip to Carowinds, and much more!
Who:    Rising 6^th-9^th Graders
When:   1^st Session: June 18-July 20
            (No camp the week of July 2-6)
            2^nd Session: July 23 – August 17
Where: Meet @ Lake Norman Charter Middle School Activity room
Time:    8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Fee:      $700 R / $800 NR
