Memorial Day Ceremony
10th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony featuring music and remembrances by local performers and dignitaries.

Movies In The Park

FREE entertainment featuring popular family movies displayed on a huge 20’x25’ outdoor screen with a concert grade sound system.FREE admission, movie, food provided by Brian's Dog House Grill. North Mecklenburg Park opens at 6pm. The movie will begin at dusk.

4th of July Celebration
Come show your patriotism when Birkdale Village and the Town of Huntersville host the 8th Annual 4th of July Celebration on Wednesday, July 4th. Activities will take place in Birkdale Village from 10am-1pm. There will be bike decorating, face painting, a clown bounce, children’s arts and crafts, a parade, a water fight between the fire stations, music, food, and a whole lot of fun!!!

Huntersville Market

Come enjoy the Huntersville Market, sponsored by The Town of Huntersville Parks and Recreation Department. The Huntersville Market offers our citizens wonderful local fresh produce, delicious baked goods, jewelry, and charming crafts.The Huntersville Market has been providing the community with healthy, regionally grown produce and baked goods for years. Remember to come early to get the “pick of the produce!”  There are also wonderful, fresh baked breads and cakes available, and beautiful cut flowers and potted plants. Come find the freshest produce and baked goods in Huntersville!

Interested in becoming a vendor? The Huntersville Market offers a central location for farmers, crafters, and all types of vendors to sell their goods and display their services.

2012 PDGA World Championships
This event will utilize 14 courses in Mecklenburg County.  This year's World Championship is expected to draw over 1000 disc golfers from around the world; making it the largest disc golf event to date.  The event will run from July 14 through July 21 and will utilize Bradford Park Disc Golf Course.  Registration will open first for invited players and then general registration will follow.   Be a part of disc golf history and sign up to play in this championship level event.  More information can be found at www.pdga.com, and www.charlottedgc.com
