Fire protection for the Town of Huntersville is provided by Volunteer Fire Departments. 

Volunteers serving the town currently operate out of three stations:
Station #1:  110 South Old Statesville Rd
Station #2:  15600 Beatties Ford Rd
Station #3:  13412 Eastfield Road

They provide services to over 46,000 Huntersville residents over the town's 63-square mile jurisdiction. 

The Town partners with the Long Creek Volunteer Fire Department to provide service in the southwestern part of town.  The North Mecklenburg Volunteer Rescue Squad provides first responder EMS coverage and rescue services for the Huntersville fire district.
