Street Light Request Form
The Town currently funds street lighting along Town maintained streets within the Town limits. For neighborhood street lights, individual street lights, or to have the Town take over billing, individuals or neighborhoods must complete and submit a request form provided by the Town of Huntersville. The Town will record and log each request at the time it is submitted to the Town Manager’s office. Streetlights are installed on a chronological basis, as funding is available.
Your neighborhood has the option of installing street lighting at your expense. This would include all costs of installation and all monthly maintenance fees. The Town makes no commitment to assume monthly billing costs until the street light billing has been approved for takeover by the Town.
