At their June 4, 2012 Board meeting, the Huntersville Board of Commissioners adopted the budget for fiscal year 2012-2013.

Commissioners modified the Town Manager’s recommended budget that was presented during the May 7, 2012 Board meeting to include $261,350 for debt service for future capital projects. This budget maintains the town’s current tax rate at 28.25 cents per $100 of property valuation. It includes $28,407,497 in total expenditures and revenue, plus $14,102,700 in Electric revenues and expenditures. It also includes $3,365,028 in revenues and expenses for Huntersville Family Fitness and Aquatics (HFFA) and revenues and expenses in the amount of $1,431,181 in the Town’s Transportation Reserve Fund. The total budget for fiscal year 2012-2013 is $47,306,406.
