Safety Town is a 4-day program for children entering kindergarten in August 2013 that teaches life-saving lessons on strangers, traffic, fire, pedestrians, guns, poisons, drugs, playground, bus, and bicycle safety. The child-sized town includes working traffic lights, miniature street signs (stop, pedestrian crossing, railroad crossing, etc.), crosswalks and eight colorful little buildings representing our town!

  • First session week of June 10th -13th
  • Second session week of June 17th -20th
  • Third session week of June 24th -27th

AM and PM Sessions available!

  • 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
  • 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

All Sessions will be held at Blythe Elementary School

Applications will be posted on the Police Department’s website www.huntersvillepd.org
Applications MUST be delivered to the Police Department in person

Registration Starts Monday March 25th at 9:00 a.m. at the Huntersville Police Department, 9630 Julian Clark Avenue in the Huntersville Business Park

Checks Payable to Town of Huntersville
Safety Town Fee is $75.00 and includes t-shirt, class photo, bicycle helmet, daily snacks, and drinks
