HUNTERSVILLE, NC:

The Huntersville Police Department Traffic Safety Section, in partnership with the Huntersville Fire Department and www.safekids.org, will be hosting a child seat checking station at Huntersville Fire Department Station 1, located at 110 S. Old Statesville Road on the following dates:

Tuesday, June 21st from 9am-12pm
Tuesday, July 5th from 9am-12pm
Tuesday, July 19th from 9am-12pm
Tuesday, August 2nd from 9am-12pm
Tuesday, August 16th from 9am-12pm
Tuesday, August 30th from 9am-12pm
Tuesday, September 13th from 9am-12pm

The Traffic Safety Section is providing certified car seat technicians that will inspect, install, and instruct users on best practices in regards to car seat safety. This is a free event. The Traffic Safety Section also schedules car seat checks by appointment.
