The Huntersville Police Department would like to announce its annual D.A.R.E. Camp.

D.A.R.E. Camp is a summer program that enhances the lessons learned in the D.A.R.E. classroom and gives students a chance to practice those skills with their D.A.R.E. officers in a relaxed, fun-filled environment. Field trips and action-packed activities are planned each day.

Camp Dates: Camp 1 - July 18-21, 2016 (FULL)
Camp 2 - July 25-28, 2016 (1 spot left, call to confirm prior to submitting application)
Camp 3 - August 8-11, 2016 (5 spots left, call to confirm prior to submitting application)
Camp 4 - August 15-18, 2016 (14 spots left)

Camp cost is $225. Some scholarships are available.

The official registration kickoff is 5:00 pm on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Chick-fil-A Lake Norman. However, unlike in previous years, applications will be accepted early. You may visit the Huntersville Police website at to obtain an application.
