HUNTERSVILLE, NC:

On Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at 11:34 am, the Huntersville Police Department responded to Central Piedmont Community College – Merancas Campus located at 11930 Verhoeff Drive in Huntersville, NC, regarding an Armed Robbery. A Hispanic male approached another individual, armed with a knife, and demanded money.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 20-30 years old, 5’ 11”, average build, with short spiked black hair, and a black goatee. The suspect was wearing a long sleeve grey pull-over sweatshirt, camouflage cargo shorts, black Air Jordan tennis shoes, black soft gloves with blue stripes, and a gold cross chain necklace.

The suspect fled the location on foot and was unable to be located.
