HUNTERSVILLE, NC:

On Monday, November 16, 2015 at 12:25 am, the Huntersville Police Department responded to 10637
Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road to assist the Huntersville Fire Department with a structure fire. Upon arrival, officers were told by one of the residents that there was a person still inside the burning house. One Huntersville Police Officer entered the residence and was able to locate the gentleman. He was able to assist him in exiting the house with the assistance of a second officer and fireman. The gentleman suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to CMC Main. Both officers were transported to NOVANT Huntersville and treated for minor injuries.
